This last year has been challenging for everyone as we all adjust to the “new normal”.
In late November, we offered a way for customers to give a Sewers Club box to friends and family this holiday season. Going by our shipping carriers “ship by” dates, we assured our customers that orders placed before December 15th would arrive before December 25th.
Unfortunately, we failed to account for the unprecedented amount of shipping volumes Canada Post would receive this holiday season. In order to ease the strain on their network, they temporarily placed a volume cap with their shipping partners to limit package volumes until the New Year. On December 14th, less than 2 weeks before Christmas, Canada Post adjusted their ship by dates, ruining any hope of Canadian customers receiving their gifts on time. All US bound shipments remain unaffected.
With that being said, all orders placed before December 15th were shipped on time with accordance to the original “ship by” dates. We ask that you be patient with our support team and Canada Post as everyone is doing the best they can during this challenging time. Remember we’re all in this together.
